Why is a traditional Lutheran worship service structured as it is? What are its various parts called, who shaped them, when? Cathy tells all.

Feb. 26   Rev. Jerry Raedeke: “Sacred spaces”

A forum exploring how the Christian faith is expressed through symbolism in the structure and contents of the church building, answering the question: “Why is what where?”

Mar 4    Father Bob Pierson: “For all the saints

A faculty member at St. John’s University in Collegeville, Father Pierson will acquaint us with the concept of sainthood in the Catholic tradition.

At St. John’s University, a Benedictine school, John Holbrook came to appreciate the legacy of St. Benedict and the Benedictine order. Now a recently retired history teacher, he shares his thoughts about the Rule of St. Benedict.
