Senior Choir Rehearsals Begin
All are welcome as we resume rehearsals with Director Michael Smith.
StoneHouse Fridays
Marty Holmstrom and Rev. Terry Frovik will lead a five-week session entitled, “The Holy Spirit - Our Supernatural Helper.”
Discussion will include who the Holy Spirit is and what the Holy Spirit does, how you can be filled with the Holy Spirit, and a look at Paul’s words on the Holy Spirit from the book of Galatians. ALL ARE WELCOME!

Cross Kids, Journey with Jesus and Joyful Noise Resume
Cross Kids - through grade 2 will be excused during worship service for a short message and devotion, then return to worship for Communion & Blessing. Journey With Jesus will meet at the same time - for 3rd and 4th graders - bring your bible! Joyful Noise will meet at 10am in the Treehouse (preschoolers through Kindergarten) for music and fellowship.

Joyful Journey Women's Bible Study
All are welcome to join leaders Carol Smith and Colleen Both on a “Joyful Journey,” a new women’s Bible Study based on faith stories found in the Bible - many that feature lesser-known characters. Our first meeting will be on Tues., Sept. 21. In October and moving forward, we will meet monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 10am in Chapel Hall.

Affirmation of Baptism Dessert & Faith Statement Sharing

Trunk or Treat in the Front Parking Lot
All are welcome to host a trunk at this outreach event for our church and community - decorating kits available upon request. This allergy-friendly event is free of charge and open to all ages - come for treats, games, popcorn and fellowship!
Blessing of the Backpacks and Teachers' Book Bags
ALL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS, PARAPROFESSIONALS AND ADMINISTRATORS are welcome to bring their backpacks and book/computer bags to worship to receive a special blessing in preparation to return to school. You’ll get a cool tag for your bag, too!
Youth Night Family Pizza Party for gr. 7 - 12
We will enjoy pizza...YUMMMM...and maybe play a game of kickball or 9 square. We will have a brief discussion regarding plans for the upcoming year, including next summer's Youth Trip, fundraising, times to serve, and all of the details that come with it. Fall Rummage Sale Informational Meeting
Whether you are a “New” or “Experienced” Rummage Sale volunteer, you are encouraged to attend this meeting to hear the latest updates and share your ideas! Over 175 volunteers are needed to make LCC’s Rummage Sale community ministry successful. Help is needed for setup, kitchen/food prep, product display, cashiering and more. If you are willing and able, you are needed and appreciated!

Good Gifts & Blessing of the Animals Sunday
Our Women of the ELCA/Women of the Cross will host this annual event. Pets must be leashed or kenneled. If 10:30am outdoor worship is moved indoors due to inclement weather, please bring a picture of your pet to worship, as no pets are allowed in the sanctuary.
Prime Timers Potluck
The third annual Prime Timers Potluck will be held at Jim & Joan Roberts’ home on Roy Lake. Sign up on the clipboard in the narthex if you plan to attend - we can accommodate up to 48 people. Bring a dish to share; brats, plates, silverware, and beverages provided. Parking is at a premium so please carpool from the church parking lot. Rain date is July 10.

People for Racial Justice visit to The Northwest Indian Community Development Center (NICDC)
On Monday, June 29 we will leave LCC at 7:00am and return by mid to late afternoon. This day trip to Bemidji will allow us the opportunity to learn how NWICDC “imbeds Indigenous worldviews and values with Western methodology to braid concepts of inclusion, equity, opportunity, wellness and self-sufficiency to advance a just and supportive society.” We will carpool and eat breakfast and lunch on the road. Bring a Pillow to Church Sunday
Our Women of the ELCA/Women of the Cross are visiting Salem West in Deerwood on July 22 and would like to bring pillows to help Salem West in their efforts to supply household goods to families in need.

Gather Bible Study
Join us for Session One of "I AM WORTHY." Join leader Marie Olness and begin with the story of creation and explore scripture that has been used to undermine, silence and degrade women; then discover how the same passages can be read as invitations to new freedom, community and vocation for people, as we are all created in God's image.
Outdoor Worship in the Memorial Garden
Worship in the great outdoors in our beautiful Memorial Garden at 10:30am. Bring your own chair or blanket for this service which is led by Redemption Road.
YOUTH MISSION TRIP
Our youth will travel to Decorah Iowa for a week of service and learning. We will bless them at our 9am service as they begin their journey.
PrimeTimers
In June, our own Janet Bedard will be our presenter, joined by Dr. Roger Macy. Janet's husband George, a retired Physics professor, lived with dementia for 10 years in their home on Lake Hubert. Janet will share her experiences and will discuss how open communication about end-of-life will offer moments of joy for both the care-giver and care-receiver. Janet and Dr. Macy’s presentation will include interactive resources that will enlighten all in attendance. You won't want to miss this personal and poignant event. Bring your own bagged lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided.
SUMMER STRETCH
We will volunteer at Nordic Woods Assisted Living in the morning, then have Sub Sandwiches for a picnic lunch at Whipple Beach followed by beach fun!
Rummage Sale Donation Drop Off Days/Times
We will accept donations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30am - 4pm.
NOTE: FURNITURE MAY ONLY BE DROPPED OFF ON TUESDAYS FROM 8:30AM - 12NOON and is subject to review.
Last day to donate items is August 29, 8:30am - 2:00pm.

At The Table VBX
We will meet Monday through Thursday, 9am to 12n. On Thursday, all families are welcome to join us for a lunch at 12noon. Our theme for the week is the story of the Walk to Emmaus. There is no charge for this event.
Pollinator Sunday
Join us as we recognize Pollinator Sunday - Led by the NE MN ELCA synod's EcoFaith Network, the event celebrates the critical role of pollinators and encourages congregations to establish local "Pollinator Sanctuaries" like the one at LCC.
